I have a URC MX 850. The dealer was kind enough to provide me with the MX editor software as we do a lot of work together for mutual clients, they take care of the AV and I handle all the network infrastructure and wireless. Unfortunately I have a Philips TV so no discrete codes for input or power. I have overcome the input issue in the macros by entering numbers to achieve a known state and then cycle the input channels. My problem is with the power command. I realize my mistake when my wife (who is not thrilled with my bringing another "giant remote" into the house told me when she tried to switch to our Roku to watch Netflix things got all screwed up. I had shown her how to go back to Main and then choose the activity. What I did not account for is that if the TV is already on, the macro turns it off. Is there a way to overcome this without created new macros and placing them in on a page in each activity screen?
