Well, that is the problem, there is no authorized reseller for Nevo in Spain, the one on the UEI web site went out of business even before I bought this remote in the USA some 2 or 3 years ago. I have tried contacting another "no official" reseller in Spain, but they have "kindly" hanged up the phone saying I have not bought the remote from them, so they would not be servicing the remote now...

That is why I was hoping I could just buy the chip and some instructions on how to open the remote, as I have found I cannot use Z-Wave when I have already invested on some Z-Wave switches (not cheap) for my home. I guess I will have to start looking for an excuse for my wife.
