Your best bet would be to look at a disty or service center near your location. As far as I know, there is no way to change that chip... Well I've never heard of anybody who successfully did it...
Well, that is the problem, there is no authorized reseller for Nevo in Spain, the one on the UEI web site went out of business even before I bought this remote in the USA some 2 or 3 years ago. I have tried contacting another "no official" reseller in Spain, but they have "kindly" hanged up the phone saying I have not bought the remote from them, so they would not be servicing the remote now...
That is why I was hoping I could just buy the chip and some instructions on how to open the remote, as I have found I cannot use Z-Wave when I have already invested on some Z-Wave switches (not cheap) for my home. I guess I will have to start looking for an excuse for my wife.
