Sorry, I didn't give you the correct setup code. For the 15-135, the setup code TV 1410 should be 11410. The leading 1 of 11410 denotes TV, while 0 would mean a cable/sat device, 2 would mean video and 3 is audio. You can see that pattern in the list of setup codes.

First assign setup code 11410, and then assign 00024 to the power button.

I doubt there is anything wrong with the remote. I would not expect scanning for a Power code to work with the Panasonic projector-- if the correct IR signal were built into the 15-135 remote, we wouldn't need to bother to assign 00024 to the power button.
