So lets ignore the flaws in Wesley's idea for a moment. Lets go with the fantasy that his sheet (which is a cluster f*** to navigate and make sense of) works.
The major flaw in this whole idea (besides the fact that the sheet is useless because of lack of content) is that online content is a PIA to use. Some content is available at netflix, some at Hulu, some at Vudu, iTunes has a lot but not all, all major networks have some of their shows on their sites, the list goes on. But the solution isnt user friendly. Not one piece of hardware can give you all sources. And even if you get all of the options, you cant get every movie or show. On top of that, most people dont want to deal with the hassle of trying to navigate a bunch of online services. Short of a BDP that gives a client access to Netflix, or maybe install an ATV I wouldnt consider integrating these services into their home at this time.
