The man you used to love

I don't see how it will help you to lead this foray by reminding us, using sarcasm, of what a PITA your previous expedition out of reality was.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I have a new item to proof for all of you.

To proof?

Before I go any further, how did that wiring idea of several years ago pan out?

After you fill in the information, go back through the tabs once again to see the results. I have yet to find anyone who uses more than 5% of their available cable TV programming, which means that cable is a >95% waste of money.

That is not true. Let's say I can smoehow magically change to some other service with twice the channels at half the price -- then I'd be wasting 97.5% of my money, but I'd be able to watch exactly the same channels I'm watching now.

In other words, that 95% statistic is meaningless.

Let's say I get my cable company to get rid of all the channels I don't want, but they won't lower the price. Then I would not be wasting a single percent of my money, but I wouldn't be paying any less. See how simply solving the "95% waste of money" problem is absolutely no guarantee of an improvement?

Read the book "Bad Science."

Let me know if there are CONSTRUCTIVE improvements that can be made to this spreadsheet.

I agree that the improvement would have to be a complete listing of everything that exists. You can't choose the best thing if you don't have all the choices in front of you.

And if you want to know my formulas, buy my book instead.

You mean, if I get the free spreadsheet, I won't see the formulas when I look at certain cells?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
