Barry, you are correct. Collisions can happen with this system but for most instances it is not an issue. Just don’t try to control the device from more than one controller at the same time.

I use one to control an iPort IW22 from both a Nevo S70 and Vantage. As yet I have had no issues as I understand that only one controller can be used at a time.

You could use a Xantech device that can switch the port being used, but you need to send a switch command before every send command to make sure you are on an active port.
