That certainly would be great. However, considering that this is the Philips we are talking about, I would assume that the decision to remove the access to the Professional Area was neither random nor impulsive. Somehow I suspect that they know what they are doing and they are prepared and willing to deal with the consequences.
Hence, I would not count on them questioning their own decision based on the feedback from a small subset of customers.
I, of course, don't have the numbers, but if the majority of the pronto revenue is generated in the network of professional installers, Philips will not change a thing to make the DIY-ers and alikes happy again.
