I think this is ridiculous. Like several posters, I am a home hobbyist & Level 1. I purchased my most recent Pronto (TSU9400) online from a store that has since gone under. This was my second Pronto after my old TSU3000 took too many shots to the tile floor. The reason I chose Pronto again, and the reason I have recommended and programmed friends' Prontos is their ability for customization & programmability. Now I cannot even get firmware updates or new ProntoEdit software without a code from some 3rd party I have never dealt with? Unreal...
