My request has had problems also. Interestingly, recently my harddrive did not work. I simply removed it and re-seated it and it worked. I thought it was fried because my system bios did not see it, but apparently it was a mechanical positional type of thing. The drive, of course is removable but I never used that option so I do not know why its position changed. I do have a question: The dvd door often gets stuck. I have to push the controls two-three times to get it to open. Has anyone replaced one of these and if so what model replacement do you recommend ie the exact model or upgrade?
