That was my understanding of it also, but the post in question seemed to imply there was a download for those of us who only had Home Premium.

I happen to disagree with you about both Philips and MS. I can't blame them for not wanting to invest their time to write, test, distribute and maintain a driver for an operating system that is retired and no longer supported by the manufacturer.

As to Microsoft, we all had the option to buy the next level of OS, but chose to save the money instead. As was pointed out, you can always upgrade your version of Windows to the next higher level for $90 and then download the virtual machine.

My solution will be to partition my drive and install a boot manager to dual-boot Win7 and XP. Simple enough and solves a lot of problems for other programs like some games, too!
