Just got my father and father in-law Harmony remotes for Fathers day. They may have been Phillips remotes but Phillips wanted to screw their customers into forced unnecessary upgrades. As my post title stated, I was officially not going to buy Phillips anymore if they didn't do the right thing and my wallet is following through on that. Too bad I had owned 3 Phillips remotes before the 7000 I would have bought the new generation. There should be a Harvard Business case on Phillips and the effects of poor customer support.
