We just moved, so have new tv service and just bought a new tv. My system:
- Astound Broadband TV (Evo Force 1) - LG G4 77" television - Panasonic UB820 dvd player - JBL 1300x soundbar I have a Harmony Ultimate Home remote (without hub) but it doesn't recognize the LG G4 (just released, not sure if they're still updating their database). Should I just wait and cross my fingers? My Astound remote can control the TV on/off and volume on the soundbar, but I'd like to be able to delve into some of what the G4 can do without juggling remotes. Also, haven't been able to figure out how to control the dvd player with the Astound remote...don't think it is possible. Anyway, I truly appreciate any insights/suggestions. Thanks!

LG codes have changed very little over the decades. Just tell it it's an older LG TV (65" G2), codes will be the same. *Argh* Sorry. Thought this was a June 21 post, not April 21. Probably irrelevant now.

Is it possible to use one remote control to control LG, Panasonic, and JBL? Before, every time my remote broke, I had to go find and buy a replacement from the same brand.

There are many cheap universal remotes that can do this. I like the 'One For All' remote line. A URC7956 model can be picked up at your local Best Buy for $39. [Link: bestbuy.com]
