Need an affordable remote that can work with Pivos Xios XBMC (Linux), Sony receiver, Sanyo tv, PS3, and Xbox 360. I need it to be an RF because it hidden behind glass. My IR remotes won't work. Also don't want to hire a programmer to do it. Thanks.

Do you already have ways to control the PS3 and XBMC via IR?

I have a remote for the XBMC but nothing else for the PS3. Do I need a PS3 remote to program a universal remote?

You will need a PS3 IR to BT (or IR to USB, if so inclined) adapter in order to control the PS3 via a standard universal remote. Next, do you have a budget in mind?

I don't understand why you are hiding the remote behind glass? Are you afraid of someone stealing it? Is it to keep the wife and kids from messing with it?

No, all of them are IR and won't work because the glass blocks it. I need an RF remote because it will work through the glass. Anyhow, I think I found a remote. The RFS-200. I plan on getting the PS3IR-1000 as well for the PS3.
