Hi everyone ! First post here, I discovered the website while looking for a replacement for my Harmony 555 Remote. I think it's great and it does everything I need : -Controls several devices. -Can emulate a Windows Media Center remote/keyboard. -Has backlit buttons. -Macros and activities. -A simple and readable screen.
However, some buttons are dying, and I'll have to replace it sooner or later. I would have bought the same remote, except for one really annoying flaw : It lags. Whenever I press a button, there's a slight delay before it does anything. It's ok when you adjust the volume or change channels, but when you have to navigate in complex menus or control the computer with the remote, it gets really annoying ! I tires several different Harmony remotes and they all had this problem, and NO it can't be solved by tweaking the delays and stuff in the harmony software.
So, are there any good alternatives that don't suffer from that kind of lag under 100$ ?
Thanx !

Under $100... yes, there are remotes without lag, but they're not going to be computer programmable.
