Where did you learn this? What are your sources? Did you find this out from Daniel?

My source is from others who have emailed me about the Best Buy website, with the same complaints about thier review system.
I Didn't mean to offend you or your sponsors.
This has nothing to do with Daniel.
Why are you dragging Daniel into this?
Don't worry, I won't post here anymore.
You win, Sport.

Hi...I'm not sure if you are considering traditional univ. remotes, but thought you might be interested in hearing about my recent choice. I had always used a Logitech, but it was time to upgrade. After researching the Harmony 1 I decided to look into these IR remotes for the iPhone/iPad.

Anyway, I read about one called the RE (NewKinetix) and did more research. I realized these new 'dongle' based IR univ. remotes really were actually worth a second look so I researched a bit more and narrowed my choice down to either a RE or an L5.

In the end, I picked the RE given it's greater functionality (aka stuff that I actually needed!) Just some of the 'ticked boxes' included, the RE's onboard db of IR codes, the option to set up rooms then devices for the rooms, and then activities for those devices. Finally, the RE was actually cheaper than many on the market esp for the functionality it provided. (e.g. the Harmony 1 was around $200 and I got the RE for $70 plus I managed to talk them into free shipping!!)

Anyway, hope this helps....be interested to know what you do.

Cheers.
