Hello.

I'm currently kitting out an indoor pool with an audio system. The pool area has active speakers which can receive IR signal, these speakers are in turn connected to an AV system and this can be controlled by the IR sensors in the speakers.
I have a very fancy Pronto TSU9600 which controls the AV system but I don't really want to take that anywhere near the pool, for obvious reasons.

Therefore can anyone suggest a waterproof remote with learning capabilities that doesn't look like a hideous bar of soap!
If it floats then that's all the better but splash proof might be enough.

It needs to be available in the UK and preferably under £100.

Thanks

Good luck with that. RTI has the U1 and U2, both float and the U2 even lights up and has a display screen. However both need an RF remote processor b/c they have no IR capabilities, not to mention being well over your 100 pound limit.

Have you tried a good zip-lock baggie for the Pronto? Might be your best bet.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

Thanks guys.
Zip bag is a definite no no but practically a good idea.
I've looked at the Dolphin remote but I don't think its available in the UK. It's only $150 but it's also a bit on the ugly side! Mind you if it does the job!
I'll keep looking.

i think your budget is perhaps a little tight for such a fundamental part of your install. instead of a remote how about one of these?
