I have recently had an LCD display fire installed which is hardwired to a spur taken from a power point. This socket is now becoming 'deaf' to X10 signals. It will switch 'off' but not 'on'. When the spur is switched off, the socket works normally. Obviously a noise problem from the fire but how do I correct this when it has no socket? Incidentally, I am in the UK which may make a difference to replies.

They do have in-line or circuit filters you could try.
