I am currently having trouble with my X-10 fan control setup. I am using (2) X-10 switches, both Leviton, to control the ceiling fan...the first is a 15A relay switch to turn the fan ON and OFF...the second is a dimmer switch to control the light. Both fan and light turn ON OK, but when I go to turn the fan OFF, the relay switch clicks twice...turning the fan OFF then ON again. This happens with both the MX-850 and the IR543 Command Center.

You probably have noise on the line and most likely caused by the fan motor itself. You should get a filter for the line.

Sounds like it may be a double IR signal that is being sent to the IR543, or maybe a IR toggle code. I think its too predictable for a noise problem. When you hit the fan OFF button, does the red LED on the ir543 blink twice?
