Hi Gang

I have been playing around with HomeSeer software and I understand that it is possible to download the macros (events) to a CM11A interface so that one can turn the computer off. I downloaded the plug-in for this, but I see no intructions or mention on how one is supposed to do this.

Does anyone have any idea on how to download to the interface?

Thank you, Glenn

I don't know if you are interested or not, but I found it in the /Tools/Download menu bar. You must install the plug-in from the homeseer website first thought and if you want to have it last more than 30 days, you have to pay for it. $14.95. I tried it and it works perfectly. My macros/events worked just fine with the computer off.

After you install the plug-in it doesn't appear to do anything, but lo' and behold, it's in the tool menu. Funny there is no mention of it in the manual.

Thanks for the info.

I'm still deciding if I want to switch to Homeseer.
I think in my sitution it might be overkill.

BTW The new version of Homeseer is going to cost $99.95 but you can save $20.00 if you buy it now, Log in to the Homeseer message board and go to All Announcements for details.

I bought it. It is more than I need, but I love it. Much better than ActiveHome.
