Hi Gang
Can anyone please explain the difference between an appliance module and a lamp module? I know the names are different, but in terms of use/performance how do they differ? Why would one use one over another?
Thank you, Glenn

Glen, An appliance module has a relay in it that opens and closes to apply or disconnect power to an outlet. It is used for loads like appliances and fluorescent lights, or anything else you would not consider dimmable. A lamp module is used for dimmable loads it can not support anything but incandescent loads. Using a lamp module with anything other than incandescent light normally spells disaster, and not for the module. Bill www.homeautomationnet.com
