I'm about to have a solar power system installed at my home which will generate almost all the electricity I need.

One of the components is an invertor which does an AC/DC conversion on the power generated by the solar panels. The manufacturers have an option which will transmit all sorts of statistics about the power being generated to my computer "over your home's electrical system". About all I know about it is that it requires the use of a pair of modem line carriers to get the info from the inverter to my computer.

Anyone know anything about these things and whether they are likely to interfere with my X-10 setup?

Thanks,
Pete

Pete, the best answer is that only trying it will tell. An educated guess would require knowing the frequencies of each system.
