Hello everyone, my name is Vincent. I’ve been a longtime member of Remote Central, and I’m genuinely excited to see it back. It has always been an incredible resource for integrators, as well as for those looking to enter the industry and grow their knowledge.

I’ve been with RTI for the past eight years, and I’m happy to help with any RTI-related questions. Feel free to post here, and I’ll do my best to support you. If you’d prefer to message me privately, that’s perfectly fine as well.
I look forward to connecting with everyone.

Thanks Vincent!! Glad to see you found your way back. Your help for all over the years has been invaluable and we all appreciate what you do for the RTI community.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

What's the planned rollout for the new ICP processors?

Also, I have an older XP8s that I am looking to upgrade.
What are some deciding factors between the ICP4 and ICP10 other than an increased number of sense, relay, IR, rs232? Same CPU?

Most of my control is via IP drivers and I'm only using a couple of IR ports.

Thank you for the questions. Sorry for my late response, as I have been doing a good deal of business travel.

The ICP-2, ICP-4, and ICP-10 are scheduled to roll out in early September. The hardware has been in beta, and all signs look good. However, Integration Designer 12 is still in development and looks to be pretty amazing. We will be announcing some of the scheduling during the later part of the summer, so stay tuned.

As far as the differences go, there are plenty. First, they are running on Linux vs. Windows CE and are about 20-25 times more memory and RAM than the existing line.

Also, RS-485 port, dual network ports, and all are POE.
