Hi,

I have a functional RTI home audio setup, my programmer just died, and I am trying to figure out a way to get my configuration/setup. I have lost my ubiquiti Unifi access and my RTI access. His wife cannot log into his laptop that has all of his software and username/password data.

I have RTIpanel software on my ipad and iphone, is there a way to connect to my system to access the files that way? I have interviewed a new programmer, can he connect to my XP-8x with a CAT6 or usb cable and download the existing setup/configuration file? He said that he has to start from scratch and it will take 8-12 hours for programming. I calle RTI and they said that if they started from scratch, it may not take that much time.

Is there a way for one of you to log into my computer and connect to my setup and download the data?
What are my options?
Thanks

If the RTI wasn't password protected ( I have found most dealers don't), then a dealer can connect a USB cable and download the program. The problem is that it does not download any information for an Ipad or Iphone, just the basic program and that depends on how the dealer set it up. You can program the control on the processor or on the Ipad/ Iphone. It might help if you state where you are located so that maybe another local dealer might weigh in.

You should find a dealer or distributer that is willing to get in touch with the programmer's wife. His computer can be broken into by a good computer tech, and then his RTI files can be retrieved.

I'm having the same issue, however, the XP8 hangs up every time I connect a PC. I'm running firmware 3.16.0 and need to pull the program, but the PC is loaded with Windows 10. I was able to transfer the firmware update from the PC to the XP8, but every time I run the Recovery Wizard, the XP8 hangs up. Any ideas?
