Hi guys, I just installed a RK3/RP6 and after the screen times out it goes blank, but you can still see a glow from the backlight. Is there a way to kill the the glow?

No, and in my opinion thast's a big flaw. The backlight never really goes out, the screen just goes black.

No and No.

Are you telling me that the RK3 is the only In-wall touchpanel that has the backlight on all the time?

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

I talked to RTI today, he said this issue will be fixed on the next update.

His words:

"All the In-walls are about to get a firmware update and I'll make sure this is included"

I wonder if this is the 2-way upgrade also.
