After a couple of years how could you not look elsewhere?? As the world blows them buy...

Truthfully over last few years I didn't need anything more than a good quality remote. In the last 6 months I've been needing a control system/solution. I've been getting more and more clients who can afford more than a single room solution. I strive to be as professional as you guys (kissing ass) and Nuvo, Russound, or Speakercraft don't always cut it for multi-room distrubtion. They are audio based systems and aren't very flexible (yes I know Sphere). It's 2009 and I think that feedback is a nessacity. So over the last 12 months I keep hearing about two-way is coming, two-way is coming, two-way is coming. I realize it's still not here and I am looking.

It's a huge commitment to switch lines and what you're use to doing. With things being tight I can't just run off and get certified for Crestron. That's why I wish RTI will figure their S*&T out. And that's why I rant.

I do love RTI though and April is only a couple of weeks away ;)

I have a love/hate relationship here... The whole two way thing has just become the joke of the industry, sad to say...

It has been way over a year now, close to 2 years in regards to the two way as URC and Pronto blow right by them. I have Crestron so I am not at a loss, but I had been using RTI for the one-way solutions. With all the issues we are pushing all Crestron as of late...

If RTI was a monoply then I would agree.

Maybe you missed my point... Billy boy Gates announced Windows (something like) two years before it debuted. That's two years, not two weeks!!

Meanwhile, Visi-On by VisiCorp (who produced the most popular spreadsheet program of that time, Visi-Calc) had a working GUI operating system. Mr. Gates *announced* his Windows operating system when it was truly vaporware. It caused a market hesitation which tanked VisiCorp and the rest was history.

The point addressed your comment "who talks about a product years before it is out?" and the answer came from Redmond, WA.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
