Changed repeats from 2 to 1 unchecked sustain box, problem fixed!
Works in macro now.

Thanks!

Would be interested In finding out what your problem was,
I have a few of these z-wave systems in operation now,
and have never had a single problem with any of it.

(sorry, didn't see your reply a month ago)

We had some reliability issues with the RF, but the bigger problem was that we had two dimmers in two different installations that both locked up. One locked up to 'off', the other locked up to a low dimmed setting.

We had 4 dimmers in a 4 gang box right outside our theater at the shop and occasionally - maybe 40% of the time - one or more of the dimmers wouldn't respond to a scene command. Doesn't make much sense to me if they are a mesh network and if one gets the command (which it obviously did since it responded) then why it wouldn't rebroadcast the signal to the other dimmers right next to it.

I am having some difficulties integrating a Leviton Serial interface () into a Leviton Vizia RF+ network.

We have 1 scene controller, and 9 600watt Vizia RF+ switches installed. We are trying to control it from a Pronto TSU9600 with an RFX9600 processor.

There are two things that could be the issue.

One: We could be sending the wrong commands. We are sending: >N2ON\r to turn node 2 on. Do I need a carriage return at the end and is everything supposed to be ASCII.

Two: We could have installed the Vizia serial interface wrong. If I understand it correctly, you first include it into your network as a controller:
** Menu->System Setup->Install Checklist->Include Controller

Then you go to:
**Menu->System Setup->Advanced->HAI Setup
to setup the associations. However, after completing the last step, the selected nodes for association are unchecked when I come back to the HAI setup screen again to double check. Is this normal? Am I missing a step?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

We are still having issues with communications from the RS232 module to the switches. We send out the command and most of the time the command executes (turns on/off) but the switch does not respond back to the module and we get the X002 error and then feedback does not happen. Looks like we may be swapping it out to a RadioRa

Your command is correct...Using Think Esssentials Pro software is the best way to setup and program Zwave devices, you can also troubleshoot the network with the software!

I did not use the Zwave Remote for setup and programming.

It seems that even if the devices are in the same room their proximity to the main transmitting controllrer is important...makes no sense since it's suppossed to be a mesh network (go figure)?
