I picked up a Yamaha RX-Z1 locally that did not include the unusual Philips Pronto
remote that it came with from the factory.I'm having a whale of a time trying to find an alternate to control the amp and make it useful instead of getting up,dropping the front panel, and entering inputs manually.I picked up on the used market 2 Philips Pronto's and both wound up being dead on arrival.
Picked up a RAV380 remote that was designed i was told around the RX-Z11.I want to setup the presets for stations but unsure how to do it or if it is even capable of that.Is there a setup or operators manual for the RAV380 that i'm probably not aware of ? To many receivers and to many remotes to choose from !
I think i read somewhere that phillips no longer supports the Pronto,nor does Yamaha,not sure about the Logitech Harmony.
Any inside information would be greatly appreciated on this topic,thx.
