Yeah! I felt for the same shit. paid $250 for the L6 500watts 5.1 sound system. This was around the sacramento, CA. area by my bank and out on the parking lot; They got me for my big heart...I though I help them out of stateters and I take home theater system at the same time. :) ... But in all honesty, you should not be buying stuff out of a car or a van like someone warned you here. It is eaither stolen or a rip off. Maybe??!!? Don't feel too bad about your sound system buy, Just learn from your mistakes, it is probably the most expensive (if you don't know how to use your new speakers) advice of the year. But who knows the website seems new and does not have much info on it. I subscrived for the newsletter, so if it is fake I would probably get a lot of yunk. Good luck out there, be safe! I just met up with these 2 guys I bought the L8ti for $220. that are in a Yellow Ford F250. same mo. I found a website for the product http://www.theaterlogichomecinema.com/I haven't had a chance to check it out, but i hope it's decent. I knew I was taking a risk, but $220 for a 5.1 surround sound isn't that bad... unless it doesn't work. |

ok this is definitely some nationwide scam heres the deal you think you got burned try interviewing for these bastards i read an ad in the dallas morning " Audio company seeks drivers. 800-1200wkly" then the number if you want that just ask i go to interview and the guy was like we do sales and distribution and i was like this is a chummy place but ok maybe they dont spend much on the office its called Empire Distribution and is located at 11126 shady trail suite 115 dallas tx they have about 4-5 vans anyways so i say ok and talk to the guy his name was jeff... he tells me they do sales and distribution and asked if i had done that.. said no and he was like well we can always train....come to the garage so i was like ok i went in their garage and its stacked full of this kirsch stuff at least 30 boxes of 5-6 different systems and i was like ok never heard of the audio but whatever... then they were like before we go lets show you what we do....they played their scheme out to me in person in this garage of how you tell people that you have an extra set and your manager doesnt know and you gotta get rid of them.... so at this point im like holy sh*t they really are scamming people......so i figure out they are hardcore scamming and decide to venture down the rabbit hole.....i hop in the van and rode around while this guy was trying to pitch to people in parking lots gas stations wherever....the funniest part was he would pitch out the drivers window and i would sign NOOO with my hand across throat motion and mouth SCAM over and over to these people he managed to get no sales the whole day and paid me 30 bucks for training PEOPLE PLEASE REALIZE THAT A BIG COMPANY THAT DISTRIBUTES WILL HAVE SIGNS ON THE VAN OR A UNIFORM DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT THEY HAVE 4-5 WHITE VANS IN THE DALLAS AREA AND THE NAMES I PICKED UP WERE JEFF,CANNON,MATT AND DAVID DO NOT PURCHASE THE F*****G SPEAKERS FOUND THE NUMBER TO THIS PLACE AS WELL CALL AND LEAVE NASTY MESSAGES PLEASE 469-522-7444 If you got shafted just try www.kirschloudspeakers.com they got web skills but notice the site is lacking numbers or distributors or anything but speaker info

The website he has looks vaguely familiar to a previous poster. They changed the name to Kirsch, but in the bottom of the site there is still a copyright 2006 theaterlogic... probably thought Kirsch would confuse people with Klipsch.

Hey there fellow scamee's, and hello also to those who enjoy our pain. They are working the Beaumont/ Pt Arthur TX Area this week as it would appear. Same M/O except they are driving a champagne Tahoe or big chevy of some kind. I have read a great number of the thread entries and can't believe that I had never heard of this scam before. Since some of these holier than thou meanies have said it has almost reached urban legend status. (Of course it looks like old news to the techno-nerd type). Well here's to my new system which I will give my 15 year old for his birthday, and thanks for the DVD compatibility info I found. Oh yeah I paid $300. I think I'll just call it dues paid for membership to my new cool little club. Looks like I may be able to find out how to use my new "real" system from here too. I would like to get a all-in one remote to replace the 5 but have no clue. Looks like I'm gonna get an education! At least I got his name & driver's license number, I gotta get a "little" credit for doin' that. Even if it's a fake. For what it is worth:
