I bought RM-VLZ620 (remote) and HX92x (TV)
I have a question.
I don't want to switch input source by cycle. I want one click.
(ex, click "PS3" and it switch to "HDMI1", click "BD" it switch to "HDMI4").

Is it doable ? The oringinal remote from HX92x seem no this feature.
But I saw the link from : [Link: hifi-remote.com]

It seem have single button that switch source.
Can I add it in my RM-VLZ620 ?

Can't be done with *only* the VLZ620. The codes you saw are for use with other brands of remotes. If you buy one of those, you could then learn the code into the 620.

Daniel, Thanks.

I got L5 remote that can program hex code.

I have another question.
Is there any discrete code that can switch "audio system" between "TV Speaker" and "AMP".
There are too many step if I want to switch by menu for Bravia TV.

There is an old code that turns a TV's internal speakers on and off, but it wasn't a "real" discrete code in that it left a menu on-screen. I don't know whether this works on newer sets or not. You can find the Pronto hex for this here: [Link: files.remotecentral.com]

Hi Daniel,

Thanks your reply.
Unfortunately, My TV can not recognize this code.
Maybe my TV is 2011 model. and it did not support it anymore.

I have a 2008 Sony TV and all of the discrete codes work for inputs through Video 6.

I bought a new Sony TV for my wife this month, and only Video 1 and Video 2 discrete codes work, leading me to believe that Sony may have changed their codes for the different inputs, meaning the old discrete codes won't work for all inputs.

I haven't had a chance to test all of the current Sony TV discrete codes on this new TV yet but will report back if I do decide to do the screening. I am always hesitant because sometimes a certain discrete code could mess up the TV, but so far I haven't encountered that problem.

I don't think that's ever been a problem with Sony sets.

It's possible they've re-named them again (depending on model year they sometimes equate codes with numbered inputs, and sometimes codes with types of inputs).

Or, they simply forgot to add them. That's happened quite a few times in the past, even when they were still designing and building most of their stuff and not farming it out. Be sure you have the latest firmware version (I remember Philips TVs were notorious for not supporting discretes out of the box, but where fine in later revisions).
