hy all
i'm new here
i've just purchased a refurbished sony remote rm-vl600 from ebay and after 1 week of buttoning,i think i run into a problem
maybe someone could help me
my remote doesn't send continuous signals when i hold down a button, either if it was programmed with a code from the predefined list either if it was leaned from another remote
example:volume up/down and channels up/down
if i hold down the ch button it changes only one channel,it doesn't skip through them(back or forward)
I want to use it with an amp who has a lot of steps for the volume control and i have to click many times to change the volume high (which is kind of annoying)
Is there something that i could done in this direction or this is the normal funtioning of this remote?
thanks.

(sorry if my english is not that good,it's not my native language)

Preprogrammed buttons should always repeat when held.

For learned buttons, you must hold the bottom on the original remote until the VL600 finishes learning it - don't just give the button a brief push.

Is this a samsung tv? Many preprogrammed codes for samsung tv's suffer non-repeating volume commands. If you were to learn off the oringinal samsung remote, there should be no trouble.
