Good day all,
with the av2100 does it have all the functions for the str-de-945?, the original receiver remote talks to the receiver, does the av2100 do the same? any help will do

The RM-AV2100 is not a 2-way remote, so you won't receive anything from the receiver. In addition, some functions will not be preprogrammed -- you'll need to learn. Many in the past have commented that they preferred the 2100's usability over the original remote's 2-way communications (search the other Sony forum).

I have a STR-DE945 and the RM-AV2100 pretty much
runs it right out of the box. All the basic stuff
works with no learning at all. But, I'm not doing
anything super-sophisticated.
