I'm having a "problem" with unexplained delays in a
sequence at a point when I am turning on or off a
non Sony Receiver.

I've changed the settings for the system control
buttons and all the device buttons to the standard
default delay of approximately 170ms but still no
help.

Any ideas?

Is it always the same point? Are you using learned or preprogrammed codes?

Always at the same point.

I'm using a mix of learned and preprogramed codes.
Mostl preporgramed.

The delay occurs ALWAYS after a command has been issued
to my Amplifier...an Onkyo 575. The command is issued,
acted up by the equipment (the receiver here) and then
the remote delays for one - two seconds before continuing with the sequence.

Doesn't matter where in the sequence I put the AMP.

AMP code is set to 085.

OK, how about the specfic command we're dealing with -- did you learn it. The AV2100 has a huge memory buffer that could hold 2 seconds of gargabe before or after a code... try re-learning if that's what you did. Otherwise, let me know.
