Hi,
I've recently purchased a KP53HS30 projection television that comes standard with a Sony RM-Y908 remote control. I was surprised to find out that I can not control the Sony DAV-S300 DVD/Sorround system with this remote.
Is there a "secret code" for this type of device? Will other universal remotes have the same problem?

If you have to buy a new remote, I suggest a learning model... then it doesn't matter if codes are built-in or not.

Dude,
I have the same problem. I have the universal remote control sony rm-201 and I cannot configure my Sony DAV-s300. Did you found a code or any sort of solution?
