My beamer needs a two second pushed power off command and I would like to programm a system button for shutting down the whole "theatre". The system delay macro executing time function only works with component buttons, would be ok either, but nevertheless it sends the command only for (half?) a second, regardless what I adjust. Am I doing something
wrong, is it really possible to programm a 2 second lasting sending command?
Any ideas?

No, it's not possible to automate something like that in a macro. 2 seconds is too long to teach (the remote would finish learning before then), you can't set hold times, and the minimum delay between steps is too long to use multiple short codes.
