I have a Sony Receiver STR-D315. The original remote has limited functions. I need the discrete ON & OFF, "Tape Monitor 2" and the manual tuning (UP & Down) to finish a job I am working on. Similar but more higher end Sony Reciever models (like the STR-D815 ) Came with full function remotes. No, I can not replace this 2 channel receiver.

I have A Toshiba TV 36AX60, (remote CT-9946) I need the discrete ON & Off Codes.
I can use Pronto codes but would prefer RTI T2 or Lexicon 700t codes.
I would appreciate any help.

On this site you're more likely to find Pronto codes. Some of the receiver CCFs on this site should have what you need.

You can use the commands from one of the more advanced Sony receivers to get those commands. The more advanced remote will provide most of the same functions on the small receiver, including power on by source selection, standby, direct access to tuner presets, etc. Borrow one for a few minutes from any retail store if you can't find the right format on the web.

As for Toshiba televisions, I don't think that there are codes for direct input selection or discreet on and off commands. I could be, and hope that I am wrong however.
