Will these Sony Universal remotes replace the passthrough remote I have for my Playstation 2? Most of my equiptment is Sony I just wondered if it would operate the Playstation DVD player as well.

It'll replace the physical remote, but not the passthrough device. That's needed for any remote.

If you buy the Sony PS2 remote, it uses standard Sony DVD codes.
