Could some please tell me what i need to do to get my RM-AV3000 to recognize my Sony receiver STR-DE985? I tried all the codes that come with the manual but did not try the learning buttin. Is that the only choice?
Please HELP!!! Thanks a bunch in advance.

Your receiver is set to AV2, what you need to do is change it to AV1. Then the codes in the AV3000 will work. See manual.
