The subject line says it all. I just installed a 1080 sny receiver and the remote controls everything but the satellite box? There are grundig codes (two) in the remote but neither of them do anything - they don't even make the grundig receive IR LED light up.
Help ?

Is the sat button also a cable button?
Maybe you have to change it to sat, then try the codes? I know nothing about your remote, just guessing.

Jimbo - your ahead of me - I also just got the 1080 but can't make any sense of the RM-LP211 remote - nothing seems to work apart from cursor - navigating through the LED menu (to no apparent avail).
I know how to set AV1 or AV2 on the receiver's setting - but how do I do this on the remote?
Anyone with any advice greatly appreciated - please make it a simple 'idiot's guide' for me / starting from scratch. Thanks.
