Have sony published ANY working codes in their manuals ?
I have just received a DVP-NS700 dvd played and the codes in the manual to operate my tv (thomson) and amp (yamaha) do not work.
I contacted SONY who werent very helpful. I also contacted thomson who pointed out that its sony who program the code to operate the components not the other way round so why they cannot provide an operational code is beyond me.
Does anyone have any information on where i can get codes that have a half chance of working ?
(they appear to be 2 digit codes so maybe i'll just have to try them all !) I guess its possible the remote is faulty but by judging on the postings this is not an uncommon problem.
