I just bought a Sony V301 Universal Remote, and I have a Daewoo 20" TV that I bought about two weeks ago. I tried setting up the remote to the TV using the Daewoo TV codes that came with the remote and none of them worked. Are there new codes for newer TV's or will this remote simply not work with this TV?

It's possible Daewoo has changed (or regularly changes) their IR codes. You'll probably need a learning remote, like the VL700 or VL900.
