My AV2100 will not run my DSP-A1 with any of the supplied codes. Ran my RXV-995 no problem. Yamaha says
that the IR codes are different. Any help would be appreciated.

Learn from the Yamaha remote? Yamaha did change a lot of things.

Michael, Did you ever get an answer? I have an RM-AV2100B and a DSP-A1 and can't get the remote to operate it.

Marcar-I doubt that Michael will read your post. He only posted one time on October 9, 2001. Your best bet would be to email him. Go to "View author's profile" and you will find his email address there.<>

The 3000 should either turn on or turn off the Yamaha, but you will have to learn both codes if it doesn’t do either (if you have the original remote). The fact that the Yamaha remote has separate buttons does have an effect on the 3000, but it is a good thing because you will have discrete power on and off codes to put in your macro. Which component do you need the user manual for? If it is for the 3000, go here [Link: sonymods.com]

Just teach the power on code and the power off (standby) code to a couple of buttons on any screen of your choosing, and use them when you make your macro. Is this enough info or didn't I get deep enough? If not, tell me exactly what you need to know.
