I just bought a new Daewoo DTQ-20U4SC tv. Would like to use my Sony RM-V8A univerals remote with it. What is the component code number which would allow that to work?

The manual shows 4 codes for Daewoo tv- 35, 36, 03, 41. If you need a manual, go here [Link: 129.33.22.12]

Thanks. I do have the manual and had tried the codes 35, 36, 03 and 41. They do not work. Any other ideas?

Have you tried searching for the code (see page 2 of the manual)? If you don't find one, and the codes listed don't work, the next thing is a learning remote that will either have the code programmed into it or allow you to learn the commands you need from your original remote.
