I just acquired a RM-AV3000 because it seems to be one of the few remotes that will properly handle the MOXI (Moto BMC9012) remote. Happily it does! (After fixing the multiple code transmit problem, the answer to which I found elsewhere in this forum - Thank You!)

All in all I'm quite pleased but I have found a minor but annoying problem. This happens in multiple instances but for example: I use the hard button STB for an older (not Moxi) Moto digital cable box and as I don't use but a few of the function buttons I followed the manual and used the "learn -Del(hold)-touch UNPROGRAMMED button - release sequence to "hide" the unused buttons. This works great for most of the buttons but a few refuse to "hide".

As I said, this a monor annoyance but I wonder if there is a fix for it?

Thanks everyone for all the good info found here.

The few that refused to hide are probably the Rec and Play keys. These are safety keys and require you to press both rec and play when you want to record, so you have to also hold both of them to delete.

This is covered, amongs a lot of other things, in these links.

BINGO ! Ron, you are realy all over this stuff, aren't you. I really wasn't paying attention to which keys wouldn't hide - I just knew they wouldn't - but soon as I read your reply I remembered that they were the very keys you mentioned. I did see the link to How to Label, Change or Hide Buttons but I guess I didn't read it close enough - my bad.

Thank you so much.
