I have a Sony Home Theater. When I first got it (Home theater reciver, DVD player, speakers) they only had one remote for the reciver (RM-PP411) I could use it to contorl my reciver and DVD Player. I kept trying to program "TV' for my Sharp TV but it would never work.

After a few months, I went back into the store and they had my remote for my DVD Player in (RMT-D143A). I brought it home and Programed the "TV" on the DVD Remote to work (just has On/off, Volume). I programed the main Remote to work with "TV", and this time it WORKED!!! I've been using it for a few months now. No problem. I can use it (RM-PP411) for my Sharp TV (Channel, Volume, On/off). I programed it just like all the other times it didn't program, but this time it worked.

I put new batterys in the remote, now it's back to not working for "TV". I've tried to program it just like all the other times, but nothing works for my TV. Everything else works. How do I get this thing to program for my TV? Thank you, Chris.

I'm afraid I don't have any words of wisdom for you. The Sharp TV only has the one code, 535, and the setup procedure is simple and you have done it before, so that is probably not it.

If you are sure you have followed the procedure correctly, and still can't get it to work, the best thing I can suggest is to post your problem in this forum, where they are more familiar with receivers and their remotes.
