I'm trying to program the 2500 for one button operation via the system control buttons. My main problem is that I can't figure out how to make the remote call up the correct tv input. My tv is the Mitsubishi WS - 65313. The tv inputs are labled but not numbered and all you can do is toggle up or down to change the input.

You can get the discrete input commands directly from the Mits oem remote, then teach them to the av2500, see this thread.

Thank you for the help. I used the discrete input commands and learned them to the av2500. I now have a new problem. They change my tv inputs when selected individually but when I try to program a series of commands using the system control buttons they won't change the tv inputs. They are the only keys that stay lit solid. All the others flash. Any new ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated again.
The keys I learned using discrete input commands are: 1=input 1 (Sat) 5=component 1 (dvd) pip up = ant A (vcr)
The order I'm using for the series of steps for Sat viewing is: 1) power on tv 2) power on amp 3) set tv input to 1 4) set amp to video 1 5) power on Sat receiver
Everything works except the tv input
