I got at V202 and it works fine for my Sony TV and my JVC DVD, but not for my analog cable box (General Instrument - CT1900). I have tried the searchcode function to no avail.

Use the coded provided on the instructions as well as the codes found [Link: ciscdb.sel.sony.com] (some are different) - but to no avail.

Anyone else know what to do?

The V202 comes factory preset for cable, but it may have been reset to satellite. Try changing it to CBL and see if that helps.

Press and hold SET, press POWER
Press the CBL/SAT button
Press and release the STOP button
For SAT-Press and release 3
For CBL-press and release 9
Press and release the ENTER button
