I just upgraded my Home Theatre System and bought the new Sony to repalce the 6 remotes. I do need some help/input with the following:

1. Sony WKF-50WE610 TV: Using code 8001. Seems like most commands working but the PIP On/Off does not. Any better code for this unit or do I need to just teach the commands that don't work?

2. Sony STR-DE935 Receiver: Using code 4001. Seems like most commands working but Center/Rear Channel not. Any better code for this unit or do I need to just teach the commands that don't work?

3. Motorola DCT6200 HDTV Tuner/Cable Box: Using code 3103. Seems like most commands working but Page Up/Down not. Any better code for this unit or do I need to just teach the commands that don't work?

4. Sony SLVD300P DVD/VCR: Cannot find a code that works. Any code for this unit or do I need to just teach the commands that don't work?

5. Panasonic/ReplayTV PV-HS2000: Using code 3203. Seems like most commands working but there is no Channel Guide Button. Any better code for this unit or do I need to just teach the commands that don't work?

6. X-10/Lighting: I have a few lights with X-10 for on/off/dimming using the basic X-10 remote. I cannot seem to get the Sony remote to control those lights. Do I need to get a better X-10 remote that the Sony Remote can send the signal to to control the lights? If so, what is the cheapest one avialble on X10.com that will work?

7. X-10 Cameras: I am planning on getting 2 cameras that I can turn on/off and maybe even control movement. Can I control them with my Sony Remote and how...what extra equipment/remote do I need?

8. Controlling Inputs (again-sorry): With this remote I can make this work by having each main Video Source (TV, DVD, HDTV, REPLAYTV) have these 4 options for each source and program each one to move to the correct input based on teh choice made. I guess I need a 5th for the VCR since it is hooked to it's own input. Will this work? is theis best way?

I know this a lot to ask, but I really apprecaite the input and will become a regualr visitor, supporter and contributor.

Thanks

1-5 If the codes listed don’t work, learn the commands you need from the original remotes, if you have them. For 4. DVD/VCR combo’s generally require the DVD part to be put on a DVD key and the VCR part to be put on a VCR key, but the 3000 has virtually infinite learning capacity so you can learn the commands you need on any screen you select, and customize them to your liking.

Your tv has twin-view pip so the keys on the 3000 won’t work and you will have to learn the pip commands. You can put them anywhere you want, but I suggest using the joystick keys (OK and the 4 arrow keys).

6-7 I am not really an expert on X10, but you will need an IR-543 controller to work with your 3000 to control the lights, and probably the camera, but someone else will have to help you there. There is an X10 forum where you can get more help if you need it. See these threads [Link: remotecentral.com] and [Link: remotecentral.com]

8. It depends on how you have your equipment hooked up. You have several video inputs on the tv, and several more on the receiver. Together, you can probably assign 7 or 8 or more components to the individual inputs, some on the tv and some on the receiver, so you just program the 3000 to go to the desired input. If it is on the receiver, you can teach a key on the 3000 with the appropriate receiver input, and it will go there, if it is on the tv, you use the video 1-4 keys. If you need video 5-7, you can make a macro or a micro-macro. See this thread [Link: remotecentral.com]
