1-5 If the codes listed don’t work, learn the commands you need from the original remotes, if you have them. For 4. DVD/VCR combo’s generally require the DVD part to be put on a DVD key and the VCR part to be put on a VCR key, but the 3000 has virtually infinite learning capacity so you can learn the commands you need on any screen you select, and customize them to your liking.
Your tv has twin-view pip so the keys on the 3000 won’t work and you will have to learn the pip commands. You can put them anywhere you want, but I suggest using the joystick keys (OK and the 4 arrow keys).
6-7 I am not really an expert on X10, but you will need an IR-543 controller to work with your 3000 to control the lights, and probably the camera, but someone else will have to help you there. There is an X10 forum where you can get more help if you need it. See these threads

[Link: remotecentral.com][Link: remotecentral.com]8. It depends on how you have your equipment hooked up. You have several video inputs on the tv, and several more on the receiver. Together, you can probably assign 7 or 8 or more components to the individual inputs, some on the tv and some on the receiver, so you just program the 3000 to go to the desired input. If it is on the receiver, you can teach a key on the 3000 with the appropriate receiver input, and it will go there, if it is on the tv, you use the video 1-4 keys. If you need video 5-7, you can make a macro or a micro-macro. See this thread
