Hi. I have a RM-VL1000 and a SAT-B50 (Sony Satellite receiver). The RM-VL1000 manual states on page 75 that pressing OK (Joystick) will bring up the Station Index when a program guide is not displayed. This does not seem to work. I checked to ensure that my component code is set to 3001 (Sony Satellite).
Your help is appreciated.

That statement on page 75 does apply to certain sony sats, the A1, B1, A2,and B2. Starting with third Gen of sony sats, B3, there was a separate index button, so if the INDEX command isn't mapped to a key on the VL-1000, you'll have to teach it from the original remote.
