Sorry if this has been asked before, but is it possible to have a macro assigned to a component button end on a component OTHER than the one the macro is assigned to?

For example, I currently have my "TV" component select button set up with a macro that selects video input 6 on the TV and "Cable" on my A/V receiver. But I actually want to use the STB to select channels with (I have another macro assigned to the "STB" button). The trouble is, when the macro has finished, I am still on the "TV" control set on the 3000. I want to be on the "STB" control set. I absent-mindedly hit the "Channel Up" button, and I'm back on the receiver input for the TV. Frustrating!

I've tried adding a command from STB as the last in the macro, but no luck. Is it possible, at all?

Thanks!

Not possible. Macro's on component buttons will always stay on that button. There is no way to change the component. You can only change the component by using a system control macro and entering the component you want as the last entry in the macro.

Ah, as I expected.

Thanks for the prompt and informative response, Ron!
