My remote works perfectly with all my components, accept that when I use the system control to power off everything at once, the DAV-C900 turns off then back on again. It all powers up correctly.I've programed a delay during the powerdown. Any ideas or suggestions? Equipment used:
KV36FS13
DAV-C900
Digital cable box (dont know the brand)
BTW Very cool forum here.

I had the same problem with my DAV-C990. It has nothing to do with the delay.

When you learning the power button, or any button for that matter, press the power button on the DAV-C900 until the green light comes on on the VL900. Some times this takes a second or two. When I first programmed the button I just pushed the power button quickly, after messing with it for a while I figured it out.

Same also goes for the volume buttons, when learning, hold the volume button untill the green light goes on on the VL900, without that I the volume would only change one notch, I had to keep pressing it over and over again to keep going up or down. If you do it right it'll keep going up or down until you release the button..
